Education
The children go to school everyday. We have some in public schools and others in private schools. We also have indoor academic coaching for the new intake that might have lost touch with formal education while on the street. The purpose of this is to groom them very well before enrolling them in appropriate schools. By the same token, Aincorporations is looking forward to zero tolerance of child illiteracy while ensuring equal opportunity for all children.
Youths & Child Rights Advocacy
Aincorporations is a strong advocate of child’s right, reproductive health rights and responsibilities. In pursuit of this we organise an annual leadership training/workshop for adolescents at the Child’s Right Educational Training Center of Grace Fountain Initiatives. The purpose of the workshop is to provide the adolescents with experience of being able to make a difference in their world through their actions; build up their resistance against negative peer pressure with sessions on leadership exercise, talent development and other relevant topics such as Reproductive Health and Rights, Career Information and Counselling, Leadership Styles and Skills, Body Image, Principles of Savings and Financial management among others.
Youths are usually trained on how to make different arts and crafts to prepare them for entrepreneurship and taken to visit different organisations.
Information and Communication Technology
The essence of ICT can no longer be overemphasized considering the fact that the whole world is turning global. Aincorporations center is not exempted from given ICT training to all our children right in the center. This is done regularly for different age bracket and is open to other children in the host community.
Vocational Training
Arrangements for vocational trainings are in place for our children at the center, this we do by arrangement for trainings in event management, cooking, saloons and Tailoring at facilities in the community through which we give adequate training for all children under our care and shelter in order for them to be economically empowered and self independent.
Child Protection
Every child has a basic right to be protected. We give adequate protection for each child under our care and shelter or as the case may be through advocacy and prompt rescue mission with the help of our Child Protection Network.
Art for Life
The children are also participating effectively in our Art for Life weekly activities, which has been helping them to discover, deploy and develop their potentials. Other children in our community also participate in this exercise as this increases the sense of belonging to the children in our center.
The Book Club
A community based project to assist children with a dwindling reading habit through different motivational and inspirational books as a means of maximizing their potentials. Other children in the community are also encouraged to join the club.
